Hi, I’m Prashant Tewatia. Born in Haryana, North India, I’ve called the beaches of Goa home for over 15 years. My journey with yoga began early, watching my grandfather gracefully hold a headstand and practice Jal Neti each morning—a quiet discipline that stayed with me as I grew.
While studying in Ireland, I realized how deeply yoga shaped me when I saw the curiosity it sparked in others. Returning to India, I committed myself to this path, studying with senior Iyengar yoga teachers across Rishikesh, Bangalore, Belgaum, and Mumbai, and training in yoga therapy at the Pune Institute.
My teaching blends somatics, circular movement, and modern anatomy with the deep roots of Iyengar yoga, offering a playful and individualized approach to asana and movement. I run workshops and retreats at my studio in Goa, lead teacher trainings at Ashiyana Retreat Center for over 14 years, and spend summers teaching at European studios, festivals, and retreats.
For me, yoga is about exploration and connection—within ourselves and with others. Whether teaching, traveling, or practicing, my goal is to make yoga accessible, inspiring, and deeply meaningful for everyone I work with.
